What does the future of Alex Orji hold?
Orji came to Michigan in large part because Harbaugh was not insistent on a position change. After a few years in the quarterback room, nearly all of it not starting at QB, and with a massive push as of late to bring in new QB talent (hello, Bryce), that door seems to be closing.
He's a great athlete and seems like a good dude every time he talks to the media. I'm sure we'd all like to keep him around in some capacity. At this point in his career, do you think he'd be open to switching to tight end? That would be a good use of his abilities that gets him out of what figures to be a pretty crowded QB room going forward, and the QB experiment has been given the ol' college try by this point. The alternative would be for him to transfer, but he would pretty much have to take a massive downgrade in terms of the level of program he'd be going to (and would preclude him from finishing his Michigan degree any time soon).
