Help with Venmo
(From California) My venmo account was hacked, and I have proof that venmo was assisting someone (who wasn’t me) to get back into my account. They are denying this and are now turning it back on me and saying I broke the terms of agreement and my account is permanently deactivated and they are holding my money for 180 days. I believe a fake ID was sent in. The phone number on my account was changed and it was all from an IP address in a different state that I am not associated with. No one will speak to me on the phone, I even got hung up on today. They have stopped returning my emails. They clearly messed up and are trying to cover it up. At this point I just want my money back. What can I do?
