I think your safety depends on how you personally use neopets. Having your first/last name and birthday opens you up to possibly having people try to find you on social media, if you piss the wrong person off they could use that info as a starting point to try to get more info on you if they wanted to be really spiteful but if you keep to yourself and are a kind and respectful player I'd assume you'd be left alone JMHO.

My biggest worries are doxxing and having my account logged into, thankfully i keep to myself and lurk so i can go unnoticed but i always worry, like what if I want to show Reddit this cool new pet I named or adopted? I can censor my user but what good is that if they can see my account via my pet?
