TSA Inspector

Does anyone have information on the TSA Inspector job?

Part of the job accountment says "responds to violations" which makes me think of a more traditional law enforcement job then a compliance inspector job.

Additionally, the announcement says that they do training, security inspections and also security audits. There are a couple of threads on the R slash TSA page but none that really give a clear picture of what they are inspecting or auditing. Do you need to have engineering / aviation knowledge for this?
