Down to earth, let's be real here

Used to play a long time ago, recently got back into the game,

I've witnessed this survey madness since day one, and I must say, at the begginig I was quite chocked about the lack of consideration and how messy it came across,

Having said this, and after the formal justification post from the Jagex team, and the appology letter from the CEO, I must say, the "community" appears to be committed to use this as an excuse to quit the game.

It really baffles me to see this "community" looking at the game as if this is an human right protected by the UN, like seriously guys, this is a game, from a for profit company,

Like everything else that we consume, be it Netflix, utilities, cars, food, etc, there's a company behind making money out of their users, and the users chose, if they stay or not.

There's BMW asking for monthly plans for seat heaters, Disney+ hicking the prices, Netflix not allowing for the account to be shared, I mean, we really don't have it that bad, and we should recognise that, while being aware of the current trend and voting on what we feel should be the future

Having the audacity to demand for the CEO to quit... after years of good work is just childish and really makes us all look bad, he said it himself, mistakes were made (this happens daily on the corp world), it's up to us now wait and see what happens, and then decide, this whole drama.... seems really silly (not to mention the riots lol)

I am saying "community" because I do believe this is a small minority, and I find it so far fetched that I really wouldn't be surprised that this is being leveraged by other companies producing their own MMO's to spice things up, there's really no way to actually know if these accounts are really unsubscribing and canceling the game, all we see if print screens, the number of players stays the same.

Just my toughts,

Edit: turns out Reddit actually hosts the JGU (Jagex Gammers Union) 😂 guys we should actually get paid to play, we are investing out time after all!!!
