Scope for Marlin Glenfield Model 60 .22LR

I'm currently looking for a quality scope for my Marlin model 60. Budget is probably $400 tops. I understand the gun is cheaper than the scope and I'll likely move it to a Ruger at some point.

Disclaimer, I know nothing of scopes really. No one I know hunts and I'm trying to get into it by utilizing YouTube and you guys.

Currently have an 870 20g and my model 60.
