Creaform MetraScan vs Zeiss/GOM ATOS/T-Scan hawk 2
Hello everyone,
I am currently in the process of purchasing a measuring system to fulfil the requirements of ISO GPS / GD&T.
I am now faced with the decision of whether to go for the MetraScan with HandyPROBE or the ATOS 12M from ZEISS in combination with the T-Scan Hawk 2.
My current pros and cons are
Company | Pro | Con |
---|---|---|
Zeiss | Larger measuring volume | Stick reference points |
Creaform | No reference Points ( if you don´t move) | Software cannot fully map GD&T |
Zeiss | Cheaper | Including rotary table for partial automation |
Creaform | Supplier uses the same device | |
Creaform | Include Reverse Engineering |
The tolerances are in the 0.01mm range. The component size is very variable up to max. 2m
