Sunlu PLA Tangle Ruined My Overnight Print – I'm Done With Them
So, I set up a 3D print last night—a WoW Hearthstone—using Sunlu PLA in Grass Green on my Bambu Lab P1S. Everything was running fine when I went to bed. Woke up this morning, expecting a finished print, but nope… it stopped halfway through.
I thought there’d be some obvious issue like a blob stuck to the nozzle, but everything looked fine. Checked the filament, and of course, it was tangled underneath not just one, but two strands. How does that even happen? I’ve used Sunlu before, but this is ridiculous. The filament jammed itself up, and I’m left with a failed print.
Not gonna lie, I’m done with Sunlu after this. Going to try reprinting and hope there’s no damage to the printer. Side question: Does the Bambu P1S have any kind of tangle detection? Maybe it’s time to look into the AMS system.
TL;DR: Sunlu PLA got tangled, killed my overnight print, and I’m over it. Does the Bambu P1S have tangle detection?
