Called 911 today, was freaking out but the operator was super loud and harsh, telling me to calm down

I felt as though I would pass out any moment so I quickly and loudly yelled my cross roads, my car and what was happening. Yet again the operator yelled back to calm down and made me repeat everything. Is this normal? Did I do something wrong? I never had a medical event happen before so I was very panicked
