Anyone with autism on meds?

I wondered if there’s anyone with an AuDHD diagnosis that takes adhd meds? Do they work for you? I’ve stopped taking my meds cause didn’t feel they were helping and I’ve just been diagnosed with Asd and the Dr said that could be why my meds don’t work. So wondered if anyone else struggled with meds too
