Kid can’t swallow a pill

Hi all- my son was recently prescribed medication. The pill is small as an aspirin. All the vitamins he has ever had are chewable, so this is a first. We have researched all the tricks and tried them, he simply cannot swallow a pill. We have a work around with a different medication but at some point he will need to take some kind of tablet.

Any feedback? Has anyone gone through this and found a solution? I’m concerned if we push this any harder it will make the issue worse.
