How long are merch lines?

So I've seen lots of posts about the long merch lines. For those who were able to get VIP access or anyone who went to merch line when the doors opened. How long were you waiting for? I want to get myself some merch when I go but I need to know when to go so I don't miss out on the concert or have to wait in line for 5+ hours. Please share your experience! It will be greatly appreciated!
