Starting to get excited for the footy season. Tell me some of your general thoughts or feelings heading into the 2025 season.

Some of my thoughts:

Fremantle have a side on paper which should push for a flag, and could be a great team for the next 5 years. They do not lack in any department. Will be interesting to see how they go.

Richmond will be fun to watch with so many young guns.

Collingwood will be very competitive and it will be intriguing to see how the ageing list goes. (I’m a supporter)

It feels like such an open season - teams who should/could realistically push for flag: Collingwood, Carlton, Fremantle, Sydney, Hawthorn, Port Adelaide, Geelong, Giants…
