What does the Ultimate GPU setting do on Armory Crate?

I just recently got a TUF F15 2022 and I had trouble finding documentation on the ultimate GPU setting in Armory Crate. Every time I try to set it on the laptop, it asks me to restart. Being a little lazy to reboot, I just switch it back to hybrid.
