Beginning accutane journey next week..

I’m about to begin my journey next week. I had an initial conversation with my derm last month about options, and accutane just seems like the best. I’m 28, moderate hormonal acne that just haunts me/never goes away.

My estimated journey is short, like 6 months. I really don’t want to start BC again (I just got off after 14 years in Jan 2019) and I did tell iPledge/my derm BC would be my contraceptive.

So.. I know the implications/risks of pregnancy. I just want to know if I told them I’d be on BC but I’m not... does it matter? I feel dumb asking but just want to know lol
