Internal SSD for anv15-51

My nitro got 512gb and i wanted to increase it to 1tb because honestly i wanted to get more games.

I was thinking of getting Crucial P3 500gb PCle 3.0 for my second slot. But I heard somewhere i shouldn't get the crucial's P3 and and P3 plus. Wanted to know if that was true and whether should I go forward with the purchase.
