Do people hang out in their bedrooms? I’m curious

So, growing up like as kid/teen I would hang out in my room. My friends did the same. I thought it was just a young phase. And I grew out of it. Once high school and college came I didn’t really hang out there.

Do other people do this? My mom’s friend does this and she’s in her50s. Also I knew another couple that did this. Is this weird? I also had roommates that would hang out in their room.

I’m 28, and I don’t hang out in my room but I sometimes take a quick cat nap(30 min) before doing Uber Eats.

What do you guys do? Is it weird?
