Meta: Can we please collectively agree that the "How do I do this?" posts with an attached video, and zero content or effort shown should not be allowed anymore?
Every single day, almost hourly, there are posts with a quick video clip and a title like "How can I do this? How can I make this transition? What is this style called?" and there is never any supporting post that says "I tried xyz, I made something close, etc".
More frustratingly, more often than not, it seems that the people making this style of posts either have zero After Effects experience, are trying to copy a filter from a social media app, or are trying to have someone basically walk them through a homework assignment.
Even when I have given basic advice, the replies will be "What next? OK I did that, and then?". There's literally no effort being made, and these posts are just asking for a full after effects walk through.
There is clearly a rule stating "Make an effort to find an answer before posting here", but that does not seem to deter the avalanche of posts that make zero effort whatsoever.
Overall these posts just water down the quality of the subreddit. I'm all for people asking questions, and I answer very many of them, but these low effort posts with no initial effort and almost zero follow up are just so frustrating.
