Karube, Shibuki and Chota died way too early.

These three could have lived until Ep 5-6. The point is that we did not gain enough development from Arisu's friends to actually give an opnion and reasoning on those characters. However, I do see why they cut off the characters because in the Manga, they do so and it shows how brutal Mira can be towards people who are close with their allies.

There was no reason for them three to be killed off so early because it felt like the whole three episodes was rushed. If they had more screentime, we would see them developing more and more until we see the true nature of these characters. In my opinion, Karube would have been a militant at the beach and would have loved it entirely, serving drinks and having a good time there. Chota would have been in the pool swimming. As for season 2, they would have gotten along with Usagi well, inviting her to the group to ally.

And do not get me started with the Shibuki and Chota thing. Chota was the more weaker link because she would have been pointed out as the outcast of the crew. Plus, this would increase her survival skills because if Chota is the weakest link, she can get through Arisu and Karube. While I think her seducing him was unnecessary, and the wrong thing to do, this is what she had to do. If she never came and informed them about the Borderlands and it's tricks, the three wouldn't have know what to do and could've died early on. TikTok fans need to understand that some people would also do this irl if it was real.
