Default carrier for shipment to canada?

Hello,

there is an ongoing strike from Canada Post. I would assume that the default carrier for orders to canada is Canada Post. If anyone else in Canada has some insight please do share. The item in question is about $95 canadian and has not yet arrived in the country as i had ordered it 2 days before said strike, while having no knowledge of the potentiality of the incoming strike, which took place Nov. 15th friday and is ongoing. I have contacted seller to inquire and they have said what is attached in the screenshots. I would really appreciate any insight, thank you.
