Amazon summer internship length (need 10 weeks not 12)

Hi all. I got an offer for a 12 week non technical internship with amazon this coming summer. I’m very excited, however, it goes until August 12th, and I need to be back at university August 1st. I need to be back so early because of a school program that funds my tuition and scholarships. How realistic is it to have my manager allow a 10 week internship instead of a 12 week. Any advice on navigating this would be appreciated.
