Finally got my ferritin levels over 100

Thought I'd share a success story here since I don't see too many. I bought some black Friday Quest tests last year to figure out why I was sooo exhausted all the time, along with other symptoms like brain fog and brittle nails/hair. My December 2023 numbers were:

Ferritin 32

Iron 98

Total Iron binding capacity of 479 (over the limit per Quest)

Percent saturation 20

I tested my vitamin D and B12, which were also right at the cusp of deficiency. Per Quest, my only out of tolerance tests were the TIBC and B12, but I did some reading online and saw I wasn't at "optimal" levels for my ferritin. That was the main one I wanted to work on. I read up a ton on cofactors and inhibitors for supplements on iron and realized it was going to be a pain in the neck unless I took the more expensive heme version. I ended up taking 3 Three Arrows iron pills a day for the year (I'm 5'6" and 125 lbs for reference). I just retested my ferritin last week and I'm at 105 now!!!! My TIBC also went from 479 to 371 and is "good" now. I'm feeling so much better (although I should not I fixed my B12 as well). I don't feel like I need to sleep immediately after work anymore :)
