It's my 21st birthday today and exactly three months since my dog, Elise, crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Shep found another way to make her presence felt by being the one who hosted my party. 🥺

I posted here before about how Shep sent me a meaningful letter (sharing his gratitude for having met me) the day after my dog, Elise, passed away. I always found Shep amusing due to his resemblance to Elise (even though they're different breeds), but this made me feel like maybe my beloved late dog was sending me a message through him. Today has been especially difficult grief-wise since it is both my birthday and Elise's three-month death anniversary. However, as soon as I opened the game and Shep greeted me right outside my house and took me to his to celebrate, it made me feel like Elise found a way to be with me somehow. :')
