House Application Denied, HELP!

I'm doing house hunting in New York. There's an apartment close to work but they denied my application citing low income. I tried insurance and even a guarantor and was still denied. I can't stay with a roommate, I have a family.

What can I do to get this particular house? I'm deeply stressed. Kindly assist with Tips for anyone that had overcome this challenge.
