What do I do?

I live in a single level apartment complex that was built in the early to mid 80’s. Unsure of construction rework on it. It does not have central heating and air, rather a unit made for a hotel room with a shelf built around it. This is my YOUNG daughter’s room and I am kicking myself for not even noticing sooner. When we very first moved in, I took apart the “cabinet” to find it completely infested. They rebuilt the shelves and got a new unit in all while subtracting rent from the days we had to stay away. I thought it had gone away until today when I was on my hands and knees looking for a toy when I just couldn’t believe my eyes. That is the WALL. We have contacted management and they said they would get someone out there by Monday. Isn’t mold porous and “latch” onto things like wood? I’m not sure the right steps to take but for the weekend I have my family staying with MY parents. Last pic is to show we do regularly check and maintain the main part we always see.
