GE UltraFast washer/dryer combo won't complete cycle

My GE UltraFast combo will run through the wash and dry like it's supposed to, but near the end of every dry cycle, it will switch to display "Load Sensing". The estimated time remaining in the app updates to 15 minutes and stays there until I manually turn the machine off. (Edit: We've let this continue for upwards of 2 hours, and the machine keeps going and updating its time remaining over and over.) When I turn the machine off, the clothes seem to be dry and warm regardless of how recently the "Load Sensing" began.

One of the major selling points of this machine is that you can put clothes in before bed and they will be clean and dry in the morning. Obviously, having a cycle that never completes undermines this point and wastes energy if you're not around to manually turn the machine off.

Does anyone here have an idea of what's going wrong? I found a reddit thread from a couple of months ago describing a similar problem but with no solutions. GE and Costco have been unhelpful in troubleshooting this issues. Some of the issues in the manual seem like it could be related to not the unit not draining water (condensation from the heat pump) effectively, but the unit is brand new so I don't think the pump is clogged or anything like that.
