Pores that look "hollow" after sebum plug is removed?[Discussion]
Has anyone ever picked or extracted a sebum plug and seen a "hollow" looking hole where the pore is?
When I get CCs/whiteheads on my cheeks, I wait for the pimple to arrive at a head. Then I kind of rub lightly to see if it's ready. Eventually at some point if rubbing doesn't hurt and the head seems ready, I'll scratch very lightly and usually the sebum plug comes out. (This is the best I can do to try to stop my horrible compulsive picking at my face...)
Anyways, I had a big blockage on my cheek that had been bothering me for so long and I finally got the plug out... to find a hollow hole there.
Anyone else get this? Does it mean the pore is damaged/stretched? Or just that's what's left over now that the plug isn't filling the pore up?
