Need advice on my convoluted setup.

So, due to my job as a software engineer, my current setup is a little convoluted, i currently have 3 laptops:

  1. - My personal windows laptop (for gaming, study, etc...)
  2. - My macbook pro 2020 (intel)(work)
  3. - My thinkpad running windows(work)

and i use a two monitor setup (with both monitors always plugged on the same computer, so, never splitting them), and due to the lack of display ports (only hdmi) on those monitors, i cant daisy chain them, and use only one cable video cable (i think).

so, my current solution:

Running 2 hdmi hubs, for the two monitors, and a kvm formouse/keyboard/audio card.

The problem:

With that solution, i can't have all the 3 laptops connected to the hubs and the kvm, so for my personal laptop, i need to manually swap the cables when i want to use it, and i need to run at least 8 hdmi cables for the hdmi hubs, and press 3 separate buttons when swaping through the laptops (hub 1, hub 2, and kvm), wich is pretty confusing at times because to hide that mess of cables, i have the hubs and the kvm bellow my desk, and i reach for the buttons without seeing the LED lights on them, so, i think that setup is at least "not ideal".

Question:

There is a way to simplify that setup?(without robbing a bank or quiting my job)

something like a single hdmi hub for two monitors, or a way to combine both 2 monitors in a single cable?

Bonus questions:

I've seen some thunderbolt docks that use displaylink technology, does it affect gaming perfomance?

In case that my setup can't be simplified, do you guys have a displayport monitor with that daisychain feature to recommend? (again, without robbing a bank)
