What should I keep in the trunk of my car?

Hey dads!

I’m a woman in my early 30’s who was gifted moms old one because she upgraded. I’ve never had an interest in driving so I know nothing about cars and it’s extremely stressful, for example, if I go to the mechanic for something basic like an oil change it turns in to me spending an excessive amount because I’m told something’s wrong with the car. I’ve since found a reputable mechanic but I’m kind of embarrassed to ask what I think are dumb questions.

I come now, to ask you dads, what are things I should keep in the trunk of my car at all times? Anything from emergency items to, good to have items just in case.
