(31F) Episodes of altered conscious - seizures?

31F, 5'5", 200 lbs. Hypothyroidism, depression, anxiety, OCD. I take Cytomel, Prozac, Abilify, Propranolol, and Gabapentin (newly started). I exercise daily. I am sober.

I've been having episodes where my consciousness becomes altered.

Here is the timeline they follow:

- Brief loss of consciousness that I estimate lasts a few seconds to 1-2 minutes. (This may be simply a loss of awareness or it may be passing out, depending on the episode).
- After the initial episode, I "black out" and have no ability to remember the next hour or so. Everything described past this point, I know because others have told me.
- I have approximately one hour of confusion, often accompanied by crying and asking questions like "what's going on?" and "what's happening to me?" I am able to speak clearly, without slurring, and able to find words.
- I am clumsy, uncoordinated, and appear weak and tired (difficulty standing, slouching, etc.)
- After about 1 hour, I will vomit several times until my stomach is empty.
- I typically fall asleep after vomiting and wake up feeling much better, with my memory returned.
- When I have gone to the ER, my blood pressure has been very elevated for up to several hours after the initial episode. My blood pressure tends to run about 110/70, but will be as high as 185/110 after an episode.

The ER has told me twice I am having panic attacks. I brought it up to my psychiatrist and she said they sound much more like seizures and started me on Gabapentin while I wait to see a neurologist. I am still 2.5 months out from seeing a neurologist. Thankfully, the Gabapentin seems to be mostly working.

Do these sound like seizures? Either epileptic or nonepileptic?

Thanks!

Edit: I do have a history of seizures (only about 4 in my lifetime) without a diagnosis of epilepsy, but they appeared to be grand mal seizures. The most recent one was about 5 years ago.
