Content on histories of Sweden and Denmark?

Hiya! I am traveling to Stockholm and Copenhagen next month. I am looking for recommendations for content that could provide me with some factual history on both of these countries. I would appreciate books, tv shows, and movies. I am having to do some remedial self-education on European history as I come from a very underprivileged farm town and we simply were not offered history beyond what was related to US history. I am finding joy in travel outside of the states with my family and learning about these countries and their history through our travels.
