Have there been any instances of entire military units deserting or going rogue at any point in human history?

I had this thought in the back of my mind after playing Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Breakpoint (2019), which features a rogue group of ex-US Special Forces commandos as the main antagonist faction.
