Does India need to withdraw from the Commonwealth of Nations to really become Great again?
Ireland did this, should we also? I mean you can’t help but read into this and see red flags. It almost seems like a watered-down version of Independence by being in that. These words should tell you alot, it says-
“The Commonwealth dates back to the first half of the 20th century with the decolonisation of the British Empire through increased self-governance of its territories.” So the keywords here are INCREASED self-governance, notice it doesn’t say FULL self-governance. This implies India truly hasn’t been granted actual full Independence. Also it says “its territories” if India was actually granted full Independence how could it still be called “its” territory? If they said it’s former territories thats a different story but they very clearly did not say that. All very telling words which pretty much says India is still under the umbrella of the British. Not like many of us did not already know that with how the Government does things and the way the culture has so many components of the invaders disease in it. I mean just something simple like Marijuana being illegal, in Mahadevs land this is quite hypocritical and a super Oxymoron. An actual free and independent Indian government would never do this. An actual India ruled by Indians would have never allowed India to become so polluted and mismanaged. Luckily Indians are waking up now, but if our Government is still under Britians umbrella can we really reach our true potential? I think we need to do like Ireland and withdraw from that Commonwealth to truly get free. 🆓 What do you think?
