What are some fun places for my teenage daughter to visit?
My 15 year old daughter and I will be coming to LA in the spring (to see Beyoncé at Sofi! - so probably just saying in the LAX area, with a car). She’s never been to Los Angeles before and I want to show her a fun time… any recommendations for a teenage girl? She’d particularly like vintage/ thrift stores (ideally not the $$$ ones), bakeries, and just cool places to photograph and “vibe” on.
I’m thinking of taking her to maybe LACMA and/ or the Broad, possible Venice Beach..: it’s only 3 days, and we don’t have a huge budget, but I think most of all she would love just getting a feel for the city. Some touristy stuff for sure - I’ve never done a studio tour, are they any fun? - but not just sticking to the Grove or city walk or whatever.
She does love photographing abandoned/ weird places so - while obviously I don’t want to put us in an unsafe situation - we’re open to weird suggestions and aren’t super squeamish.
Maybe I’m being too ambitious here… help me narrow ideas down? I’m excited! 😊
Edit: wow, SO many great suggestions, thank you all!!
