What Do You Think About Zeta Males?

Yesterday was the first time I heard the term, and when I started reading about it, I realized it’s the most accurate description of my philosophy of life and what’s important to me that I’ve ever heard.

I’m different than everyone else, I’ve never fit in, and I don’t care. But I’ve always wondered where my independent, delight in being different, don’t care what anyone thinks, won’t live by society’s rules attitude came from. I’m not like anyone in my family- I couldn’t be more different than my father- and I don’t remember picking it up anywhere along the way, although Ayn Rand was an influence. It’s always just been who I am, and I like it that way. It feels right to me because I’m being true to myself. I’m happy to be a Zeta Male, but not happy to realize I have what’s called Peter Pan Syndrome. But now that I know I have it, I’m going to get rid of it. I believe independence doesn’t permit even partial dependence.

That’s what I think about Zeta Males, but I like hearing other points of view. What’s the Reddit hysterical overreaction? Are Zetas lower than Betas or better than Alphas? My question pertains to Zetas Males in general, not me in particular.

Because most people are answering the wrong question, I’ll clarify that I’m asking the men, not the nomenclature. Who cares whether the word is Zeta or pumpernickel sandwich? It’s nothing more than a one word reference to the ideas and self-beliefs that make the man. If someone asks you whether you like apples, why answer by saying since you don’t like the name, you’re don’t have an opinion about how it tastes?

As far as criticism of categories, I don’t disagree with anything anyone said, and thankfully no one pointed out the obvious mistake of stating by saying I don’t fit into categories and then putting myself in a category. Oops. That’s embarrassing and I completely missed it.

But my question was about the characteristics of the men, not the category the men are in.

Finally, I’ll repeat the final sentence of the post. “My question pertains to Zetas Males in general, not me in particular.”
