What extra things should they teach kids at school?
This isn't a moan about schools. We know - if the country devotes more resources to schools we get better results. Many schools do a great job, with very limited resources.
Teaching kids how to calculate the volume of a sphere won't help many in their adult life. But it is part of the useful process of teaching them how to listen, understand, question and learn. So that's really good.
But... putting all that aside. What things do you think would be really useful for kids to learn at school:
Finances - learning about budgeting, about debt and particularly about bad kinds of debt.
Sex Education - Non existent when I was a kid. Still seems hopelessly inadequate given the lack of basic understanding that many kids have.
Practical DIY - Nothing fancy - changing a plug. removing a sink u-bend and cleaning it out. What a mains stopcock is (and when you might need it). Resetting a fuse board trip switch.
What else?
