Dog has highly diluted urine and incontinence
I have a 4 year old Standard Poodle. She was spayed a few months after she turned 2 years old. The last week or so we found a few wet spots on our bed, they didn't necessarily smell like urine but it was clear it wasn't just water. We have one dog with incontinence issues but hers is very clearly urine so we were sure what these were. Then last night she was laying in bed and got up and we saw the spot and that it was enough to soak through the comforter and sheets and down to the mattress protector. We were stumped because it was clear and had no odor.
I took her to a walk in vet clinic (not her normal vet) today. Her urinalysis was normal except for a urine concentration of 10.10 . No signs of infection or crystals, no fever, no visible discharge. The vet wasn't sure what was happening said the options were to do nothing and wait and see. Do a round of antibiotics in case there was an infection that the urinalysis didn't catch. The last option was to bring in another urine sample on Monday and he'd recheck the concentration. It then clicked that maybe it is incontinence and that her urine is just so diluted that it doesn't smell. I asked the vet and he said that at that low of a concentration it's definitely possible.
Well tonight she got up from her dog bed and there was a spot under her and one small section that was yellow and it didn't faintly smell of urine. So now I know for certain it wasn't just discharge but that it definitely is incontinence.
My question is what tests should I make sure get run? Also what could these symptoms?
She had labs taken two weeks ago to figure out why she's gained weight and everything was normal except for slightly elevated cholesterol. She had a cbc, glucose checked, T4 and a bunch of other stuff checked and it was all normal. She also had her hips X-rayed and the vet looked at those because he could see her abdomen and said it looked normal. The vet today looked it over and said there was no signs of anything causing this.
