Why?

My name is Bish, and I recently met my friend Aditya's cousin, Maya. We had a good time together, and I developed a small crush on her. The next day, everything was going fine until Aditya mentioned, "Someone has a crush on you." I asked, "What?" Aditya then told me, "Maya asked if you were committed or not and said that Bish is very nice and attractive."

So, I found her Instagram, sent her a request, and she accepted and followed me back. But I didn’t text her. Two weeks went by without any messages from me. Yesterday morning, Aditya told me that Maya had asked about me again and said something about me. When I asked what Maya had said, Aditya replied, "I won’t tell you. You can ask her yourself if you want." So, I decided to start a conversation and texted her at 3 p.m. yesterday. But I didn’t get a reply, and she hasn’t even seen the message yet. I figured she just hadn’t opened Instagram.

However, today, I posted a story, and she viewed it within 30 minutes. I felt a bit sad that she saw my story but didn’t check my message. Why could this be happening?
