To all RS5 and S5 owners

I’ve been researching the hell out of 2018-23 S5 models and specifically the 2019 RS5 model but I wanted to ask specifically people who have owned and daily driven these vehicles. For the S5 owners do you often wish for more speed and performance capability or does the S5 for the most part meet your desires? For the RS5 owners do you often end up using all the extra horsepower as a daily driver or does it feel like it goes to waste over the course of owning the vehicle? I want something with speed and practicality but I worry if should spend over $12k+ extra for performance capabilities that i might not get to use very often or should save my money and stick with a newer S5 model.
