Bringing home our first ACD!

We are so excited to have the opportunity to bring home an ACD puppy in a few weeks. He will be 8-10 weeks when he comes home. Looking for any tips or training guides to know what to expect when he comes home. My wife is hesitant with the herding breed as we have 2 small children (our oldest is 2). We already have a border collie mix that is great with the kids and have had since she was a pup. Any insight is appreciated!
