Autistic Adult experience needed for a novel

Basically the title. I've started writing a book about my experiences as a late diagnosed autistic adult navigating love, friendships, and work. The crux of the development is my protagonist (slight self-insert) going to an autism friendly club in their community hall through telling each others' stories, making them more proud throughout the book about their autism.

Only problem is I can't feel proud of what I'm doing if all my characters are just bases on what I personally have experienced. If anyone is willing to anonymously provide positive or negative stories that would be amazing, you can choose how your character looks, speaks, and their names as well if you want ^{_^}

(Also of this is already a book and I just don't know, please tell me!)
