I’m considering buying a BMW

I’m interested in buying my first BMW, specifically the new M2. What should I know about the car? How does it compare to its competitors? Are newer BMWs reliable, or do they still fit the stereotype of expensive maintenance and problems? Id like to hear any thoughts or opinions.
