2010 S1000rr trouble starting
Hoping I can get a solution to my starting problem on my 2010 S1000RR. I just added a small power distribution box for my heated gear and phone charger, etc. It’s wired directly to the battery so it’s not touching the stock electronics at all. But when I went to start it after installing all that the bike won’t start. The battery is fully charged and measures over 12V. I can hear the pump priming when I turn the switch on. The starter is spinning quickly, but it’s just not turning over. When I turn the key on, the dash shows #LAMPF fault. But that’s just the front headlight bulb. I can’t see anything that would actually stop it from turning over. The bike ran just fine last week just before I installed this stuff. I haven’t owned this bike very long so maybe I’m just not familiar with the BMW set up or is there something specific I accidentally bumped while running the new wires? It has to be something simple I’m not paying attention to, so hopefully one of you can click the light bulb on for me.
