Wondering what the true benefit of an expensive car seat is? For example graco vs peg perego vs clek vs Uppababy

Is it just the label you’re paying for, are they actually superior? These car seats are used for such a short time. All car seats have to pass safety ratings so what’s the benefit? Weight? Size? Comfort?
