Buying a travel stroller vs using Uppababy Cruz on trips [on]

Hi all, I have an Uppababy Cruz and love the stroller. We’re going to Florida soon and I’m wondering if I need to invest in a travel stroller? Is it sufficient if I buy the uppababy Cruz stroller bag? I understand a travel stroller can be placed in the airlines overhead compartment which is ofcourse convenient. But with the uppababy travel bag, I can also gate check the stroller.

Any recommendations on whether I should invest in the carry bag for Uppababy or a new travel stroller?
