Weighted basketball for shooting?
So today at the gym is the first time I came across a weighted basketball, 3lbs. I did some research all of them says weighted basketball is often used to improve ball handling and passing, but after shooting with the weight ball for a while then switching to a normal ball, I noticed immediately the power and strength from the flick of wrist, I was able to launch threes with ease the same way I would shoot a free throw, and after few adjustments the shot just feels more powerful and control. Is it a good idea to start practicing with it onwards to strength wrist and arms for the shooting mechanics?
