Vera Farmiga gave a performance of a lifetime.
I saw Bates Motel back in 2018 and ever since, I've rewatched and have been completely enthralled by Vera's performance as Norma.
Even when she's doing things wrong, you can't help but root for her. She was such a likable flawed human being. She deserved so much better. She was one of those, even when the world around her is collapsing, the light within her radiates and you always see it.
True testament that after she died in season 4, the house had a cold remorseful feeling to it with her not living there bringing life into it.
Vera Farmigs gave a career performance in that show and it's truly one of the best performances of all time in my opinion.
