Beardie won’t poop in tank
Hey! Pic of him bathing for attention; My Beardie, Toast, tries to boycott pooping in his tank. He’ll glass surf for up to two days holding it in, but then eventually does poop inside. I always make sure to clean it up right away- same day if he does it while I’m at work.
Any tips? Should I add on an extra area in his enclosure like a pseudo litter box? Should I just take him out and let him poop on the bathroom floor? Is this typical for beardies to become clean freaks ? We’ve had him for almost 2 years and he’s never had this issue to the extreme it’s been the last 3-4 poops.
Mandatory disclaimer: We take him out often, but when he starts glass surfing and I know it’s poop time he doesn’t come out until after. I’ve been pooped on, it sucks lol
