Can I trust them

Having two bearded dragon got kinda expensive on my mom so we are rehoming Phil this is the first semi decent people that have messaged me about him but I'm not sure if I should trust them I'm a bit concerned I just want him to go to a good home because I love him and would take him but I can't afford him I already have a hermit crab and a ferret
