Are the blades on the plastic gen remakes all metal?

I got this Dranzer s for Christmas, but I noticed that where the black meets the metal looks more like paint than plastic. Did they mold the whole thing out of metal and just paint it over to make it look like plastic? (I’m referring to the top half, the bottom part is definitely black plastic)
